There are currently nearly 2 million of children living with HIV around the globe. The only treatment option for these children is life-long antiretroviral therapy. The Fouda Lab is part of investigating team studying the potential of immune based interventions such as therapeutic vaccines and passive immunization with broadly neutralizing antibodies as functional cure in pediatric settings. These studies may help develop novel therapeutics that are specific for pediatric populations.
